Morning Visit to the Naval Museum
Our day started with a short visit to the Naval Museum in Norfolk, Virginia. It was an interesting way to begin the day and learn more about the naval history of Norfolk and its strong connection with the U.S. Navy. Although our visit was quite short, it gave us a good impression of the importance of the Navy to the city and the surrounding region.

Old Dominion University Visit
After our visit to the museum, we drove to Old Dominion University. During our visit to ODU, we first had a quick meetup with Dr. Patricia Schiaffini-Vedani, Director of International Collaborations at the Graduate School. Her work at ODU focuses on international collaborations, global partnerships, and creating international learning opportunities for students and faculty. It was nice to have the opportunity to meet her during our visit and take a picture together.

Old Dominion University Campus
Afterwards, we had the opportunity to meet Prof. Dr. Elko Klijn. During our meeting, he gave us an interesting overview of life at Old Dominion University and explained the different degree programs offered by the university. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the American university system and student life at ODU.

Evening in Cape Charles
Later in the day, we continued our journey to Cape Charles, Virginia. After the academic activities at ODU, it was nice to experience a different and more relaxing side of Virginia.
We had dinner together in Cape Charles and spent some time exploring the area. One of the best moments of the day was watching the sunset. The beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect way to finish the day.

A Memorable Day in Virginia
Overall, the day was a great combination of history, university life, travel, and relaxation. It was another memorable day of our visit to Virginia and gave us the opportunity to learn something new while also enjoying our time together.
