Newport University

Our day on September 21 was filled with interesting meetings, new experiences, and many

opportunities to learn something new.

We started the day with a visit to MAP, where we had the opportunity to meet many

interesting people and learn more about their work and experiences. One of the most

exciting parts of the visit was an interesting discussion about call centers and the growing

role of AI .We talked about how AI is changing the way call centers work, what

opportunities it offers, and what challenges can come with these developments. It was

especially interesting to hear different perspectives and discuss how technology might

influence the future of work.

Afterwards, we had the opportunity to meet two interesting German scientists, Prof.

Helmut Baumgart and Dr. Hannes Vennekate. They gave us valuable insights into the SRF

process and explained the topic in a very understandable and interesting way. We were

able to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the research and technology behind

it.

To finish our day, Professor Tarek Abdel Fattah and three of his students gave us an

extensive tour of Christopher Newport University. We got to see different parts of the

campus and learned more about university life and studying at CNU. It was a great

opportunity to experience the university from a student’s perspective and to exchange the

differences between U.S and German Universities with the students.

After such a full and exciting day, we ended the evening with very good Indian food. It

was a perfect way to relax, talk about everything we had experienced during the day, and

enjoy the evening together
